Alpine Aid. Elevate Your Performance.
Prevention

Don't let the mountains put a hurting on you. Here are some simple ways to minimize the effects of elevation...

  • Stay well hydrated. Proper hydration can help minimize symptoms such as headache.

  • Get adequate rest. Your body recovers & repairs itself while you sleep.

  • Eat a balanced diet. Proper nutrition will keep your body well-fueled. Avoid foods that are high in fat and sugar.

  • Avoid excessive alcohol intake. Alcohol not only dehydrates your body, but it can also inhibit quality sleep.

  • Limit caffeine intake. Caffeine is a diuretic; it will dehydrate you and contribute to headache.

  • Avoid quick trips to high altitude. Whenever possible, ascend to elevation slowly. This enables your body to properly acclimatize over time.

  • Use AlpineAid. AlpineAid is proven to reduce headache, nausea, and fatigue associated with altitude sickness.
